BRONCOS TRADE JAY CUTLER TO THE BEARS

Jay Cutler is headed to the Chicago Bears. The Broncos traded the disgruntled quarterback to Chicago for a first- and third-round pick in this year's draft and another No. 1 pick in 2010. The Bears also sent the Broncos QB Kyle Orton. Denver sends Cutler and a No. 5 pick this year to Chicago. Of course, this means Kellen Clemens and Brett Ratliff can breathe a little easier over with the Jets as one of those two will battle for the starting job. Of course, that is if the Jets don't make any noise come draft day. Georgia QB Matthew Stafford is working out for the Jets, so who knows what they could be thinking.

Cutler to the DA Bears!

Very surprising move. I think the Bears may have given up too much to get him.

How do you think Jay Cutler will fair in Chicago? I don't know if he can take criticism very well, may not be a good fit. Plus no WRs to throw to!

It didn't hurt his share price though, thats for sure!

Anytime you can add a 25-year-old Pro Bowl quarterback you gotta do it. It was a great move by the Bears. The Broncos did get a ton in return, though.

I think Cutler will do great ... and Chicago does have some talent, so I think they will definitely be in the playoffs next year. Cutler and Matt Forte will be a great combo.

The Bears paid too much for him.

I wouldn't have given up that much, but if you're going to make a big move, you've got to be willingly to pay for it. So I give the Bears credit for that. Franchise QB's are hard to come by and now they have one.
