Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Jets greatest achievement - winning Super Bowl III in the sport's great upset of all time. The Jets, led by MVP Joe Namath, defeated the Colts 16-7. I've never known what it feels like to win a Super Bowl, so looking back at this one shining moment is interesting. Even though it's pretty sad to look back on a team that I never saw (I was still years and years and years away from being born), I still take great pride in their accomplishment. It didn't hurt that I met Namath several years ago and he was a really cool guy. So, in a year where many thought the Jets were headed to the Super Bowl (anybody remember 8-3?) I guess fans will have to settle for remembering this Jets team that made the NFL what it is today.

REMEMBERING THE JETS SUPER BOWL III VICTORY OVER THE COLTS
Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Jets greatest achievement - winning Super Bowl III in the sport's great upset of all time. The Jets, led by MVP Joe Namath, defeated the Colts 16-7. I've never known what it feels like to win a Super Bowl, so looking back at this one shining moment is interesting. 8-3 a shoe in for the playoffs and then they screwed it all up. You know I'm not a Jet fan, but I needed them to win that game against the Dolphins and they failed and now I'm even more against the Jets.
Aren't you the guy who picked the Giants and Titans to meet in the Super Bowl? How's that pick working out for you today? Oh, and the Patriots cheat.
Yeah I had hope for the Titans and there was no reason the Giants should of lost that game, Manning just sucked. I did pick the Cardinals and Steelers though, so I got two right.
